Unable to receive items from marketplace.tf
So, today I decided to transfer my mobile authenticator from an old phone to my tablet. I did this with success. Then I bought about $10 worth of items on marketplace.tf. I have bought and received items from that website many times successfully. But, this time, the trade offer never appeared in steam. When I went back to marketplace.tf, there was a notification saying this:
"Hello,

This is an automated message to inform you that our bots have run into an issue delivering your items that requires action on your end.

The following issue is preventing you from receiving trade offers from our bots:

Steam is reporting that you're unable to trade at this time. Please try inviting anyone to a trade to see what is preventing you from trading.

You will not receive this specific message again until we are able to deliver your items. Thanks!"

Whats going on? Will I have to wait 7 or 15 days for my items, and will I even get them at all?

Its not sites issue. You made trading restriction for yourself by changing authenticator.

"Mobile Authenticator Removed

Removing a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator reduces your account security. To help protect your items, you will be unable to trade or use the Community Market for 15 days. In the case your account was compromised, this cooldown gives you time to recover your account and reinstate your security without losing your items."

This cannot be bypassed. You have to wait.

Transferring the mobile auth. correctly normally only triggers holds for 2 days.

Disabling it, on the other device, would have triggered a 15 day restricton, as the helpful user above posted.

EDIT..This is related to Steam restrictions and holds, of course. If you have an issue with a third party site, ask them there.

Well, I ADDED the second authenticator BEFORE i removed the old one. Does that count as a transfer?

You cannot do that. Only one authenticator at a time.

Oh, I must have been mistaken. So I have to wait 7 days until I have "Been connected to mobile authenticator for 7 days", and then I will recieve the trade offer?
Also, If the trade offer has already been sent, will it appear when the hold is up?

Are you asking due to that third party site in your OP above ? Because those are not supported here. We can only help you where Steam trading is concerned.

I mean, if the site sent a trade offer, will it appear? Or was it blocked?

Its like if any player sent a trade offer, not site specific.

I can only suggest you ask about that there. Or maybe in the TF2 forum, as some users there might use that site alot and be able to help you more. Just a suggestion.

Well, If a normal player sent a trade offer, but this cooldown of 7 or 15 days is active, would the request appear after the cooldown had ended?

will you still get the items after the 15 days?

Why are you in this thread? It's nearly a year since the last post.

Don't use off-steam trading ever. They're all scam sites.

Use your brain and read the trade agreement when you use Steam to trade. If you have unlimited your account, using the proper authentication tools and phone connection ... you'll be able to trade quickly.

"will you still get the item" well unless the trade on steam is cancelled, yes of course you will, the trade will be complete after that time. It's a cooldown, not a ban. It's intended to prevent theft. All of this, you can read about by actually looking at the steam help pages.
