How to refund for a product key
Just today I have redeemed a key for a game that I'm probably not gonna play and I'd like to give it to someone else who likes to try it. I haven't played it at all. Is there a way to unregister it from my account and it to theirs? Or to refund it for another key of the game?

Purchases Made Outside of Steam
Valve cannot provide refunds for purchases made outside of Steam (for example, CD keys or Steam wallet cards purchased from third parties).

No, it is a one use item. It can’t be removed from your account.

Neither. once used, it is bound to your account. Since Steam was not involved in the sale at all, you can't get a refund for the game, either.
