No such thing as "premium" steam keys, that was made up by the app and is NOT supported or affliated with Valve.

Its just a random key. The "premium" part is meaningless, its only supposed to give you a (false) sense of value.

If the website does neither tell what games they give away, nor give examples for possible prices, the answer should be relatively clear: 39 Cent shovelware, possibly region locked. "Premium" under these conditions only means, it costs you more of your points.

The more interesting question would be, what else this program may have done to your device.

Best case: you get a key for a game they call "premium", but is anything but premium.
Worst case: they steal your account because you gave them access to the same phone as Steam Guard. Valve/Steam does not call games premium so it's solely a designation by that company/app.

Assuming we're talking about the Pabbl app, they are registered in the Kamer van Koophandel, but they're registered at an address that hosts a couple dozen other companies, so it's just a mailbox. The owner of the company is another company. It's not the most transparent operation.

At the end of the day, you have to realize that an advertiser pays 0.01 cent for your view, so in order to give you something good in exchange, you need to look at a hell of a lot of ads.

Simple questions you should apply to everything in life - is it official? Is it legitimate? Are they offering it on the face of it, for free?

Its pretty clear the answer to the first question is no (unless valve have done something weird ive missed in recent months). So that gives worry to the second question. The third, NOTHING in things that are sold in a market economy are free. You pay some other way later.

That should be all you need to know.

If they are offering something for free, they claim, then its highly likely youve fallen for a scam, so I sincerely hope youve not been logging in via their front end or something, because all you are doing is giving THEM your account details.

In short, if it aint official, automatically assume its dodgy as hell.

And assuming the worst, get your antivirus scanning, and malwarebytes (or similar). Theyll remove stuff, undoubtedly. Only then change your passwords for EVERYTHING you have of value on the internet, and NEVER repeat passwords across sites.

Edit: just realised im likely over egging the pudding here, but I cant delete this comment on my kindle (thanks amazon)

Yeah, nothing in life is free. Either scam, or using your PC for either crypto mining or a botnet

If you're expecting a $60 title, then yes, you would be wasting your points.

I don't expect a 60 euro title but maybe a 20 euro one or 10

Maybe "premium" keys are the ones, they are giving out for the first time and have not been used already. Anyhow, I still bet, you let them mine through your device for a piece of russian flash-trash. I hope, you used a burner phone for that and not one with actual important stuff on it.
