Not able to download steam
When i wanted to start up steam this morning i got an error message without an error code. So I deleted it of my pc and tried to reinstall it. But i got the same error without a code. I'm not able to play any games and my pc is well capable of doing these things. If anyone can help me please do I would really appreciate all the help i could get.

Check your fire-walls, anti-virus sofware etc, and follow other trouble-shooting listed there.

Edit: I added the wrong KB article.

What was the exact error message you got, the one without the code ?

Sounds like anitivirus or other software might be blocking Steam from being installed, so check those and Windows Firewall also.

EDIT...Ninja'd ! :steamhappy:

https://prntscr.com/lo9bf7 that's the link to the screenshot as you can see there 's no error code.
I already deleted my anti-virus program and I still get the same error message.
https://prntscr.com/lo9fqs And as you can see on this picture windows firewall accepts steam.

You do realize that it is not in English, right ? Sorry, but I cannot read that, and cannot copy and paste from a screenshot into a language translation tool.

Antivirus is not the only program that can cause issues with Steam. Here is an easy test to see if it is software that is conflicting with the installation :

Boot the computer into safe mode with networking. Download a brand new, fresh copy of the installation package. Then, try to install it in safe mode with networking.

If you can install it there in that safe boot, it's surely a software conflict in a normal boot causing the problem. Feel free to type out what the text of the error message says, please.
yep ... security bug probably ... hard to say a resolution ... try to figure out if viruses or similar at first ...
I've been doing research and haven't found anything. Steam isn't active in the background, Windows firewall accepts steam, Deleted all my anti-viruses and edited them so they aren't active and they still don't work. so I'm basically just ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

You were instructed to boot your PC in safe-mode with networking and download the installer and try the installation.

As per...

What were your results after doing so?

You can try to re-install/install vc++ x86+x64 from 2010 to 2017(latest client does not work without 2017) +check that .Net 2.x&3.x is enabled in Windows.
