Steam Curator - Can't create or edit List titles and descriptions

Hi all,
wondering if anybody else is having this issue, and/or has a solution. Below is the conversation with Steam Support so far, that has not been helpful as of yet, but it will fill you in on where I am so far. I really need the Curator Admin functions to work properly, so I can get back to doing reviews for developers and publishers that are waiting for them, thus the desperation in asking multiple sources for help with what should be a very easy fix IMO. There is something internally bugged about the Admin functions, and the Steam techs need to just look at it, and fix it. Anyhow, here's the Support conversation over the past week:

Hi there,
I am a Steam Curator (Minorthreatt Gaming Reviews), and I have an extensive "Lists" section on my Curator page. Every List has a title and a description. Recently I noticed 2 of my lists load with no title, and no description. These 2 lists are named "Defies Description" and "Filthy Smut." I know how to update them, and save changes, but when I go there to check (in the Admin section), the text is there as it should be, and I save it again, and still nothing comes up as it should when I access the Lists section that any viewer would see. To me this is an obvious bug of some sort, that needs attention beyond what I can fix myself. Would you be able to help me fix this so I can format my curations list properly? I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with your curator page. Could you please send us a screenshot that shows the problem clearly with the list? Once we have more information we'll be happy to investigate further.

Hi Anthony,
thank you for your reply. I have attached the 3 screenshots below. Admin view shows what I have written and saved. List view shows that despite saving it, no title and description shows up on this list. The third screenshot is of my list named "Competitive Multiplayer", and shows what a functioning list looks like. I have had most of these lists for over 6 months, to a year, and have never had this problem before. They had always shown their titles and descriptions, just as they should, and could be easily changed and updated as needed. Now the titles and descriptions just don't load, as you can see from the "List View" screenshot.

Thank you for those screenshots.

Have you tested uploading this list in both the client and the Steam web version in a browser such as Chrome or Firefox?

Additionally are you able to test this on a different machine, or the same machine on a different network? All of these test are valuable.

I have tested uploading this list in both the client and the Steam web version in a browser (Firefox). It has made no difference. I have tested it on my home PC, and on my PC at work as well, no difference.

I just tried another test I thought of myself. I deleted one of the Lists that was having this problem, so it ceased to exist. I then created a new List, and named it again, typed out the description again, added a game to the List, and made it "Public" to be viewable, and hit "Save." To my surprise, it did the same thing: The List exists, lists the game I added to it, but fails to display the List name or description.

I thought if I deleted the List, somehow it would start fresh, and the "coding" (or however Steam works) would work properly as it had always done before for the past year.

I don't in any way mean to be impatient, or difficult, but I don't believe the issue here has anything to do with my PC, my internet connection, network, or anything on my side. It's an issue with Steam Curator on Steam's side. In the Admin section, I type information and ask it to publish my input, and there is a failure from it to do so, as you can see in the images I sent you. You can load my page up at https://store.steampowered.com/curator/31339849-Minorthreatt-Gaming-Reviews/lists/ and view it yourself, and it won't display for you either under "Defies Description" or "Filthy Smut."

I tend to use analogies when I am trying to explain something that doesn't seem to be clicking with a person, so here's an example. If you are on your phone, and you type a text message to your friend, and then hit send, and the sent message that you know you typed arrrives blank with no text in it, that is the problem. You've texted the same way for years, without issue, and suddenly your text messaging system on your phone is not working, making your texts appear blank of any text.

I am going to try another test where I create a List I have never had before, and will call it Test, and see if it works when creating a new list in this way, and will report back.

That test did not work either, so it confirms to me that the issue is not just attached to a few existing lists, but Steam won't let me create new ones with working titles or descriptions as well. I left the test up for you to view. It's at the bottem of my Lists page, and is called "Test". The title should read "Test" and the description "Test text", but it just says Minorthreatt Gaming Reviews List at the top instead. It displays the one game I added into it (Stardew Valley).

I have not received a reply in a number of days, so I am checking in to see if there is anything else I can do to help this situation along. We could live chat, by text or voice if it would help. Do you have the ability to enter my account and interact with my Curator Lists just as I do, and see for yourself that the Admin functions of Managing Lists and Creating Lists is not functioning properly in relation to displaying titles and descriptions?

I have developers and publishers that I have promised reviews for, and properly displayed Lists for to feature their titles they have provided to me. I have never had an issue with Steam before that I could not fix myself, so you have a great system in my opinion, but this issue is putting a block on my ability to feature and help sell your products. I need to have this issue resolved so that I can get back to curating and reviewing properly. Hope very much to hear from you soon so that we can figure out how to solve this problem as soon as possible. Thank you for your time and effort, I appreciate it.

That's it. Anyone have any information or advice?

That seems similar, but I'm not completely sure as the poster uses English as a second language. They seem to be having issues with adding/removing games from Lists, whereas for me I cannot edit or create List Titles and Descriptions. It's like being able to publish a newspaper, but you can't title the articles, or display the opening paragraph. Makes for a very faulty newspaper.

Just read the clear notes at the top of the discussion page.

(And no, bumping is not allowed at all. It serves no purpose).
