So i used my parents credit card....
Its the classic kids trope. I used my moms credit card to buy a game (Doom 2016) and she decided to cancel the purchase and get my account banned now i have an account alert that says account will be restricted until december 4. What does does that mean? if i just cant buy games then i dont really care but if i cant play them/ lose access to this account all together then im ♥♥♥♥♥♥. What should i do????

If she does not reverse the chargeback, it might be a permanent lock.

The card will be forever banned on Steam.

If it was a first time offense the game you bought with the card gets removed, then you are restricted for 6 weeks, meaning you cant buy or activate games and cant use any community features like the market.
After the 6 weeks those restrictions are lifted and the payment method used ( credit card) will be permanently disabled for your account as a option.

In case of another offense your account will most likely be permanently suspended.

They dont hand out permanent locks anymore on a first offense.

If the account is locked, you can't even buy games or add them to the account until the lock is up.

You won't loose access to the account or what you already purchased though.

ok sounds like its fine then, i wint be able to buy games with a credit card again though? or just that specific credit card

That specific card. And if it becomes permanent, with that account.
