"Microsoft VC Redist Package" stuck

I am trying to install dead by daylight but it doesn't work and is stuck, any fix?

Post your complete system specs, including the operating system and if that OS is 32 or 64 bit.

What can sometimes happen is, something is affecting Steam on first time setup of the game, where Steam automatically installs these packages for that game for you.

If that is the problem, it is suggested that you fix that issue first. Then, you can maybe go into the game files in the game's folder, and look for those redist packages and run them directly from that folder, by right clicking them and running.

Again, any conflicts would need to be solved first, to prevent further issues hopefully.

I recommend posting in the game forums to get help quicker that maybe someone has same issue that fix their own problem, and may share with you.

2. What OS are you using, and what bit version is it 32bit, or 64bit.

3. Please make sure you install all your drivers.
Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2005 - 2015, install both 32bit "x86" and 64bit.

Going by what comes with the game, you should have a folder where the game install that has the drivers you needed.
