Can't log into my account
Hi, I can't log into my Steam account from browser or the Android app. I tried to log in, it wanted my Steam Guard code, I wrote it but it sayed that it's incorrect (I tried more than 10 times). I removed the Steam Guard (from the app, now it sends the code to my email) and now when I try to log in it says "There was a problem communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again later."... I can log in only from the desktop app.
I don't know how to contact the support :(
Please, tell me what should I do to log in or at least how to open a ticket to the support
Thanks in advance :)

"Help I cannot sign in".

If you are getting an error to try later, then perhaps try again later.

I know my email, password, etc. and when I try to log in, it says "There was a problem communicating with the Steam servers. Please try again later.", not "Incorrect username/password". Don't think that I haven't tried later, I'm trying for 2 days and nothing happens... Just Steam is full of bugs :steamsad:

How are you connected to the internet ?

If you are using a wireless connection for all this, bypass that and use ethernet directly to the source unit (modem) and try again.

Steam is not necessarily the issue. It's just maybe your connection TO the Steam network that is the issue, since you are getting that error.

A forum search for that error will have many results that you can see. Then you can try what others tried also, in order to troubleshoot the issue.

EDIT..Sorry, but I see where you said you can log in from the desktop app. So your connection via the devices in question is the issue, not Steam itself.

I didn't understand... What means "wireless conection"? There is an ethernet cable in the router but I'm not sure if you mean that. I can't put the cable into my phone, also I tried to use mobile data but nothing changes

If you can sign in using the desktop Steam client, but you get the error when using your phone, then there seems to be a connection issue with the phone.

No error with the desktop app means the issue is not with Steam. It's your connection TO Steam from the device you are using where you get the error.

My PC is connected with a cable, but the strange thing is that I can log in from the desktop app but not from the browser

Not being able to log in from a browser on a PC might be a different issue than trying to log in from a phone and getting the error.

When you say "cable", is that an ethernet cable from the modem to the PC ? Bypassing the router totally ?

It sounds like a browser add-on or security feature is maybe blocking you from logging in using a browser. If the client works fine, then that seems to be a conflict with the browser and logging in only.

There is an ethernet cable connected to the router and from the router to the pc. The problem with the logging in started yesterday and I can't log in from anywhere but the desktop app

That is not bypassing a router, just so you know. Again, if you can use the desktop Steam Client and log in just fine, then your connection using the other device (phone) is the issue with you getting that error.

It seems you are talking about two different issues. Which one do you want to focus on here ?

The PC browser and Steam logging in issue or.......

The Steam Mobile issue ? There is a forum for Steam Mobile also.

I have problem with logging in from the browser (PC and phone) and from the mobile app. It's one issue: can't log in

No, you said you can log in using the desktop client just fine. So you CAN log in, just not from the two other methods that you mentioned, phone and browser.

Did you even look at my search result link I took the time to do and post for you above ? I saw at least one recent thread on this with the mobile auth. and that error.

"No, you said you can log in using the desktop client just fine." I can log in from the desktop app, but I said that I can't log in from the browser from the phone, the browser PC and from the mobile app...
I looked at your search, I saw a few problems like mine but I didn't find the solution...

What should I do to log in from my phone?
Phantom Oct 28, 2018 @ 11:14am
First of all, if your mobile auth codes always appear incorrect then it's possible that the time / date on your mobile device may be incorrect.

These codes are generated locally and do expire, they are temporal and hence, the time difference may potentially cause some issues.

It's also possible that you have some browser plugin / addon that is potentially causing this issue.

In your web browser, try logging in to Steam within an INCOGNITO tab.

This should allow you to test the issue.

Now is the Halloween sale and I want to buy games but I won't do it until everything is fine
