Question about gifting restriction to other countries
I'm new to Steam and would like to buy don't starve together which comes with a extra gift copy. I want to know the gifting restrictions to a friend (I can't send a friend request to my friend's account because neither of our account's have spent $5 yet, so I can't see the gifting restrictions). Do any of you guys know what are the gifting restrictions to other countries? The account I'm buying from is Australia and the other account is in Canada.

If the price of the game has more then a 10% difference after currency conversion between the two regions you cant gift the game.
Thats the main one.

There are also some regional restrictions that allows certain games only to be bought/played in those countries.
But that mostly applies to regions where Steam games are much cheaper then the average like South America or Russia.
