Why can people sell cheaper than what I offered on market?
I dont really know how it works but it's very frustating to see someone buying on the Market an item for ex: 100 dollars when I have an offer of 105 dollars... It doesnt make sense to me.. I never saw the selling offers being smaller than the highest Buying offer. Can someone explain me something about it or send me a link?

Someone put their offer at a lower price than the highest buy order? That was silly of them. The buy order system is a first come first served basis. Older buy orders get priority over newer ones. What makes you think you get to jump to the head of the line?

Someone had a buy order that was placed before yours, so their buy order was filled first. It's just that simple.

People put the price of the cheapest things to sell them faster. I have done it.

And beyond that people who offer more get preference too.

If OP is offering $105 ... and someone else is offering $110.. and then someone puts up that item for $100 it will go to the person offering $110 because they were offering the most.

So the Marketplace puts a preference on the *oldest* but also *highest* offer..

It would make sense if the highest offer still had preference... it doenst make sense that someone buys it cheaper than me just because he ordered it before me...

From what I heard, this is a matter of currency conversion and rounding errors on Steams side. In some cases, this can actually make a price seem higher than another in one currency but not in another.
Not sure, if it happens when the actual transaction takes place or in the re-conversion of the prices into yours.

I doubt its misjudgement on the sellers side since they are aware of what price they're selling at despite how Steam converts the currency rates.
