Play = game process running
Bear in mind, if the game is open and is running; it's going to gain play-time.
This doesn't make any sense... I haven't played the game ffs.
What if I say that there was no error and there wasn't any window open with the game. How can they prove that I have played the game? It's so easy to check for them... I haven't played a single second of the multiplayer and the campaign mode ran only for a few seconds...
That's right. But isn't there like a gaming log where they can check that the game wasn't launched properly?
In some cases, the game will launch and "run" but you cannot really play it or play it well, due to not meeting the system specs of the game.
Always compare your hardware to that on the store page for the game, before you buy that game. If you need help after doing that, you can ask here if the game should run or run well on your system.
Just for next time, please.
You're absolutely right about that. I was naive to think that a 1500£ laptop would run this game without a problem...
Launching is launching. As the good gwait said, the process running = you playing the game and there is no way to prove otherwise.
People would just say "the game did not run properly" or "I was not really playing it all that time" and abuse the refund system into oblivion.
Macs are more than that and can barely play games from 5 years ago

In cases like this they sometimes make an exception.
But if they refuse again take it as your final answer.
