Mouseover preview for Steam store not working.

Normally I use this to speed up looking at game info, such as user review, etc. however recently the Mouseover preview has stopped working. This is on both windows and MacOS.

So I guess the feature was removed? Or is there a hidden setting to re-enable it?

was wondering the same thing. maybe its just the store being buggy with the steam sales and all that

Hmm...interesting. I have a conspiracy theory: They disabled it for the Steam sale to prevent people from seeing the game rating before visiting the store page. They might see the feature as denting sales perhaps? Probably a wild theory which is completely unfounded and irrational....or perhaps.....?....lol

I use it pretty much every time I visit the store, and was wondering if it was just me as well. I read on another forum post that it's disabled since the servers are overworked during sales.

Yeah, I noticed it straight away. i thought it was a bug.

This has been happening well before the summer sale this is nothing to do with sales wish I knew why though!

It is to do with sales though. The point is it's not EXCLUSIVE to sales.

It's a problem when there's congestion. And sales are ALWAYS a time of congestion.

I'll bet if you leave it until the early hours of the morning or something it'll work better.
