Webroot help???

(btw, i have no clue where to put this question, so if someone could direct me to the right forum, that would be helpful, thanks)

I got Webroot antivirus installed on my computer yesterday, and apparently it wont let me run steam, or any game coming from steam. so I uninstalled and redownloaded steam and it let me play again.
Well today I went on to play a game, and steam wont work again. I repeated the same steps i did yesterday and it worked.
So my questions is, can someone help me because I dont want to have to keep redownloading steam every single day.

the issue is that, preferably, i would like to keep the antivirus software, AND use steam. Im thinking of contacting webroot, but I want to make sure I try evrything first.

Do you get any popup message or anything from Webroot when trying to run Steam? I've been using Webroot for years now and it's never given me a problem with Steam.

You should be able to make exceptions in Webroot for Steam and games to allow it to ignore them in real time scanning.

Any antivirus that does not allow me to make such exceptions, if that is the case, does not get installed on my computer. Or, it gets removed if I was to somehow find out later that this is the case.

Security programs and processes need to be leaving Steam and games alone in real time scanning.

so for some reason, webroot isnt giving me anymore problems??? I dont know why, but what ever i did, it worked.
