Why is STEAM a Worthless, Complicated piece of trash?
It regularly crashes for no good reason. It is a difficult and tedious process to get it back online. The help and customer support is practically non-existent. Right now in trying to recover it I was forced to uninstall it and now I can't reinstall it and I'm unable to get any assistance. As usual.

Your crashing is caused by something on your side, not by problem in Steam.
And it's not something the support can help you with no matter how many times you ask.

Being unable to reinstall the program after uninstalling, means there is some registry/files that weren't able to be removed.

Millions of other users have the Steam Client.

Does it crash for everyone? — No, it does not.

Why assume that it's Valve's fault? — I don't know but you can see that it isn't.

The client crashing can be caused by software confliction amongst other things.

Read: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithSteamIssue/?issueid=707

There's a feature to contact Support.

See the last option.

Because it's easier to assume or blame the software the user is using instead of his own computer.

Mhmm...seems like your problems stem from you, and not exactly from the platform itself.

It can also be caused by someone using a seriously crappy antivirus product. *cough*AVG*cough*

Any crashes are not good, therefore it's actually for no understood reason, apparently.

As others have said, it's often conflicting software that causes issues with Steam , such as antivirus programs, other security processes , or maybe even an infection.

Have you scanned for infections lately, using a program such as Malwarebytes and a good antivirus also ?

Security processes and programs such as antivirus, firewalls, and others need to be leaving Steam and games alone in real time scanning.

Why not describing the problem and asking for answers?
I think, what makes you angry is that you focus on your guess that steam is the whole malfunction. And then giving it names.
So you cant fix the source of the problem.

The usual responses. IT'll run fine and then the next time it will tell me I already have a game running although I had exited and I have to restart to clear the ghost program. In your world the patient is always wrong.

When a patient tries blaming somebody treading on their toe for them havng a sore arm thats not a problem with the world to call them wrong.

Your still not giving any real details on what is happening yet and unless you either start doing that or learn to search for those details to find answers you aren't going to get whatever your issue is fixed.

You can use task manager to close a game that wont close.
Note: Its a game that misbehaves.

Always the same game or just pretty much anything you run?
