Not all the 1050s have PSU connectors. They get the power directly through the PCIe slot.

What is the exact model of the 1050?

Yeah i was watching tech source and on his build the PCIe slot was on his GPU but on mine it isn't i have to wire it from the psu onto the motherboard i just dont know how to :/ and its the MSI GeForce GTX 1050 TI AERO ITX 4G OC Graphics Card

As explained above. If there is no visible connector on the side of the card, then your card draws power directly from the PCIE slot. So you just plug it, close the case and enjoy it.

That mini GPU draws the power through the PCIe slot itself.

No. The power for the PCIe is drawn through the motherboard. The motherboard should already be connected to the power, or you couldn't even turn on the computer.

Welcomes.

Keep in mind the 1060+ series of cards require a connection to the PSU. Anything under that, tends to draw from the PCIe it's self.

The PCIE slot is always capable of sending out power by itself. When a GPU uses those 6 or 8 pin connectors, is because it needs extra power. But cards like the 1030 and some 1050s are efficient enough with their power and do not need such extra connections.

When you install a GPU, if it needs an extra connection, the bios will usually give you a message about it (it won't explode nor damage anything). If it starts up normally (like what will happen in your case), there's no more action needed.

so do i not need to use the PCIe cable at all for my GPU?

If it doesn't have one, yes. If there is nothing to plug onto, then it's pretty heavy indication that it won't need one....
