Is it legal to sell access to steam account?
Hi. I've seen someone selling access to steam accounts to play a game that can be played on 4 different pcs from one steam account, hence logins to account being sold for less than full price of the game.

I would have thought there are steam rules against this, but wanted to check. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Your Account, including any information pertaining to it (e.g.: contact information, billing information, Account history and Subscriptions, etc.), is strictly personal. You may therefore not sell or charge others for the right to use your Account, or otherwise transfer your Account, nor may you sell, charge others for the right to use, or transfer any Subscriptions other than if and as expressly permitted by this Agreement (including any Subscription Terms or Rules of Use) or as otherwise specifically permitted by Valve.

It's no illegal.
It's against the terms of service and a good reason to terminate the account. Valve is also not obligated to honour those sales.

Selling licenses is a hot topic, but until tested, there is no legal answerbut good arguments on either side.

If you know of an account or accounts where this has been done, is there a way of reporting it to steam?
