is it dangerous?

I want to clearify and know how dangerous it is to accept gifts from stranger that just added me? I'm highly thinking to refuse...

If it's a gift, as in an actual steam gift, there's really no danger? If the game was bought with a bad card or they tried to do a chargeback, the game would be removed from your library and they would be reprimanded, not you.

If your feeling uneasy about it just refuse. They likely gifted you because your picture (if it's you, or not) is a pretty woman and your a high level, so they think they have a shot with you, or they want something in return.

yea , he randomly added me and keeps telling me to ask him what ever I want, he will gift me, I find it really awkward , I asked him why and he told me if he'll be straight with me I'll remove/block him, after some time he told me he wants to be friends and I am like okay we can be friends but I'm not asking you to gift me anything and he keeps telling me that he needs to gift me lol, and I think you gave me a correct response, he just wants to hook me up ....

Take the free gifts. It is a bit weird and creepy but that's what you can get for having a cute picture. I have given out gifts before to randos before and then removed myself from their friends list.

It's great that you like doing nice things for people, but you should also bear in mind that receiving gifts from strangers makes some people uncomfortable, not least for the reason's explained here. We should all be able to use own image as a profile picture without being hit on or sent gifts which often come with an ulterior motive.

Yeah I'm aware that some people do it for an ulterior motive and that is sad and yes I have ran into some people that refused to take the gifts and that was fine and we parted with a thank you ect.
