Delete Cloud File Fallout 4

I am having issues with Fallout 4, how do i delete my files from the cloud? Every time i download it, it pulls all my backups which contain the glitch i am trying to get rid of. The files reanimate them selves when I delete from in-game file directory menu and all of the online tutorials to delete save files from Fallout 4 are outdated. I've been at it for too many hours now, I am very frustrated.

This glitch is preventing me from saving quick saves and survival quick saves. They are automatically deleted upon game close, after I save from resting in bed. I used a save mod for the survival mode and the save file STILL does not exist. Please help

I fear that you will have to delete all your own previous saves before deleting the game.

Only then you may download the game again to get ride of the glitch.

I found my previous save after deleting and reloading skyrim ...

That's why I am thinking it may be a way.

I hope there is another mean, but all saves are automatically downloaded on the cloud when quitting a game.

Normanus1, I WANT to delete ALL of my save content for Fallout 4 and start the game from scratch like I had just bought it but I cannot achieve this! I need to know how to figuratively press the "reset" button on my entire Fallout 4 game.

Regarding to TheGivenOne, I was only mentioning that I TRIED a mod to have a save file and even then it was not working. No one so far is helping me. Some one please help!

If there are no mods installed at all now, you should still have manual saves in the folder for Fallout 4, where the saves are stored.

This should be Documents\My Games\Fallout 4\Saves

So disable the cloud for Fallout 4 and try manually loading a save from there or just delete them manually, if you wish.

You can overwrite cloud save files by temporary disabling steam cloud, then create a new game / remove the savefiles.. Start the game, save when you can and exit the game. Then turn steam cloud back on. It should sync the newly created savefile.

Not sure where savefiles are stored for FO4, you gotta ask that on the game forum.

Cloud can be disabled in Steam > library > FO4 > Properties (right click) > updates tab > uncheck Enable steam cloud.

There is no "Save folder" presently located and I haven't altered any files or folders, other than disabling cloud synchronization. I've already reinstalled the game in full in case there were damaged or missing files but it did not resolve anything.

I just tried making a save file with complete cloud cancellation and it still does not create a save file, either auto save or a hard save. I tried to create a save file while the cloud was deactivated, then reactivated the cloud to replace the file information and it did nothing. (most likely because the save file was not created)

Also, just like before I reinstalled the game, the new save file I would make would say "Game saved" but, it was not created. I go to the main menu and I can't even click "Load", it makes the sound that I clicked it but nothing happens and my auto-save tab shows a character name "Dude Mack", level 25 with no screenshot of the save point. I try to load this anomalous save file and it does nothing like the Load tab.

I'm going to disable cloud sync' in complete for ALL apps and applications/games and reinstall. If this does not work I'm getting a refund.

You should not have to reinstall games. You can verify the game files instead, if you suspect there is ever an issue with the files.

I don't see how it can be an issue with the cloud, so I can only suggest you post in the Fallout 4 forum about it. If you can launch the game from your Steam library, and get to the intro menu or video of the game, it is surely not a Steam problem, so the game forum can help the most, surely.

If you cannot even launch the game from your library, please excuse me for misunderstanding, and we can try to help further maybe.

What happens, exactly in detail, if you click on "play" in your Steam library for Fallout 4 ?

It's not steam's fault that FO4 is crap at savegames.

You have 55 hours in the game.

You are not getting a refund for Fallout 4.

PRETTY sure you can get a refund or something if any and all progress you ever make cannot be recorded. An issue like this triggers me the most, and we will comprimise.

As for the issue, I purged all Steam files and folders from my laptop and installed a-new, with cloud sync' disabled before attempting to instal FO4. I will report tomorrow in 14hours from now with my results, thank you for your assistance (: Hopefully this works. If not, it's going to the top.

Nope, Purchase has to be less than 2 weeks old and less than 2 hours.
Go ahead, give it a try. You get your answer within 4 hours saying your request is denied, whatever reason you used.

And if that still doesn't work, you really should try to discuss this with people that play FO4. People with experience on FO4 usually know how to fix stupid issues like this.

There is nothing wrong with Fallout 4. There is something wrong with "your" Fallout 4.

EDIT..Just use the forums, please, and allow others to help you. If you can launch it from your library without problems as I said above, then the game forum is the best option, really.

It could also maybe be conflicting software causing the problem, even if you never added any new software, and reinstalling and/or verifying won't necessarily solve this, if so.

I meant that I will be communicating with Bethesda directly. I am making sure that the Steam files and folders are flawless and fresh, to prevent assumptions and suspicion of FO4 file tampering, which would affect game app performance. (essentially I'm covering my ass to make sure it is THEIR game that's wrong, not me.)

But anyways, thanks guys for your support and assistance! I will keep in mind with the FO4 community. I just want to try this out first, have a good night
