why is steam only using 1.3mb/s?

http://prntscr.com/jukwlz as you can see there, I have 10mb/s (sometimes over). Steam is only using 1.3mb/s?????????

Because Steam counts in bytes and your ISP counts in bits. 8 bits = 1 byte

You can change that in the download options. You can also change the speedtest settings so shows the same setting as steam.

Or use the task manager to see how quickly steam is downloading stuff.

Thats a good idea. I didn't know you could switch it in the speedtest.
