Email trade confirmation not being sent to my mailbox.
Basically as the title says, I cannot receive my e-mail verification.

Did you check your spam folder? Do you normally get emails from Steam?

Who is your mail provider? Yahoo is well known to block emails from Valve. Hotmail occasionally does but that gets sorted out in a few days.

Hi. There's nothing in my spam, and I don't usually get Valve emails. My provider is Seznam.cz.

Add a game that's on sale to your wishlist and wait about an hour. If you don't get an email telling you that the game's on sale, your provider is blocking messages from Valve.

If your provider is blocking messages, your options are to contact the provider and get them to stop, or to change to a provider that doesn't. Gmail doesn't have a history with blocking messages and is free.

If you're not seeing the emails that are being sent to your email after you have confirmed you have given Steam your correct email, then yes they are being blocked. Emails don't just get lost to the aether, and it's not like your e-postman dropped the letter in their e-mailtruck and accidentally left it sitting under their e-driver's chair. If it didn't arrive, it's because your provider had blocked it from showing up.

I have bought the item instead for 1,20€ as my friend didn't know how to get the pending trade cancelled or so.

So you know how to do this in the future, either one of you could have hit the big "cancel trade" link next to the offer.
