Slow Downloads and Connection to Content Servers

I was getting 6MB/s dload when I had 50Mb/s connection, now I have 100Mb/s for couple of weeks and the download speed on Steam is the same. It's just weird. Maybe something temporary.

I would first start with bypassing any wireless hardware and run ethernet from modem to computer, depending on your hardware setup there. Even if you have no other issues, this can sometimes show results.
Speedtest does in Kb/ps , right? If that was true what you're saying, you have 736 Mbits internet.
100Mbits = 12,5 MB/ per second, wich should be 12,500 kb or 100,000 Kb per second.
Try fast.com, that might give better results.
edit : Oh well, it's Mbps, not Mb/s. Not sure if you knew there was a difference.
