Is there a way to remotely specify installation path for a game?

So I'm, not home at the moment and I would like to install a game remotely, as I noticed the remote installation only installs games on my C: drive, is there a way to change the path remotely?

Try changing the default library location in the global settings.

I should've specified that I don't have the steam client here, so I wonder, can I do this through the web page or the phone app?

Not as much as I am aware, but I do think that after you change it once, it will stick to that settings

No way to remotely change the pathway, no.

You need to go on the computer and download a game and direct it to the specific drive you want that way later in the future when you decide to download a game from your phone it’s already set as D drive C drive etc.

The new mobile app made this change, which only released 6 months ago. This was long after this thread was created or even its last response in 2018.

Have you even made a multi steam lib or add steam lib to new disk, then i did that it ask me what disk it should install game in.
