Free steam games?scam?
First of all,pls forgive my grammars lol,ok let’begin.

I have seen so many websites that says it will ‘give’ you free steam games, many ‘people’ comment down it works, even online. However the websites have proof that the ‘people’ are not bots,so they will pretend as a normal steam users and suddenly add you, they always say the websites works. Therefore many normal steam users fell into the traps.

Well, yesterday I see an website that also says ‘give’ you free steam games, but it is a different one,
It said after you pick a steam game,a bot will add you just trade you the steam game.then I tried it out, there’s really a bot trade me the steam game, and I got the steam game I picked...
I just want to know that is this one a scam as well?

I give away steam keys all the time on my twitter and live streams.
Sounds like a scam to me, there are plenty of legit giveaway sites that you sign into the site with Steam and do "tasks" like a facebook page, twitter, youtube, check out another site, join steam group, ect then you get a key to add to Steam, or you can use steamgifts where you sign in to Steam and you need an account worth of 100$ to use and you get free point each time a game is added and you just join and see if you win when the time run out of the giveaway.

I'm sure there are plenty of sites too that don't work and I'm sure that the one you are talking about is one.

What game did you get and what did you do before?

Websites that promise you things for free are usually going to either be outright scams, or phishing for your login information. Don't buy or even click on those. Particularly if they're censored by the Steam forum system - if you see [link removed] or hearts instead of words, those sites are scams.

Seems much to vague and too little context to tell.

While this is pretty odd, even bizarre, but the thing is, you're not taking a risk here. Worst case, the gift gets revoked, but that's it.

Just note op, there is a huge difference between Sign in with Steam as an api button and signing in with steam login info.
