How do you mean lag? Internet lag?

Use a cable or sit closer to the router.

Then why even mention you Wifi XD. You will need to be a bit more specific then "lag", do you have a low FPS or does the game keep freezing?

It is because of it is a laptop. I still regret buying 2k gaming laptop. Then last year I sold it away and bought a gaming pc. I never buy a laptop again, the difference between pc and laptop is insane. I get 500% better performance with this 500dollar gaming pc than with my 2k laptop
Have you updated all of your drivers? Could also need the BIOS updating but before you do that research the process, then again and again until you know exactly what you need to do, could fry you motherboard if not.

Nvidia GPU I assume? Make sure it is actually running your games on the Nvidia GPU and not on the Intel HD.

Rightclick anywhere on the desktop and go to the Nvidia Control Panel > 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings > Preferred graphics processor > High-performance NVIDIA processor. Apply the settings and done.

And ofcourse have your laptop plugged in to a power outlet. Gaming laptops, especially high-end ones might refuse to enable the dedicated GPU when not plugged in to power.

If the issue still presists after this I would like to know your laptop's exact model, I already know it's an Asus but not which one exactly.
