The stable Steam client was not updated yesterday. Only the beta branch was updated.

It only matters if you are opted into the Beta Client. If not, it was not Steam that updated.

So you closed(du kloset) my thread what i meaned was different to this thread.

Without steam we didnt had this problem that you cant join to server.and this is not the first time.

and i mean like "without steam" you CAN (not must) download update like mw3

and without steam when you play (PER EXAMPLE) MW3 you dont have the probs like the update yesterday...the download was in Steam>Gamdes>download
when its not from steam so can steam check that update?
and FOR WHAT was the update...MW3 runs till yesterday...never chang a winning team!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a GAME update. No client updates download in the game files.

As I said, " A game specific issue."

This is the correct location for your complaint.

Steam Support can not help you with this either. They do not help with other publishers games.
