You really need to log off and back on for that? for me personally I just try to get some sign in button and it logs me back in by itself when it happen, not in a while

Having the same issue now for about the same three days - following an update they pushed. Seems to mostly happen whenever I've left my machine on for awhile without interaction, even though nothing else is affected. Exiting the client and relaunching it seems to work, but they need to fix this as that isn't a solution.

Its been happening to me for about a week. Noticed it when I wanted to view my wish list inside the client. Noticed it was completely blank. wanted me to log into steam while i was already logged into steam. So I tried too and it said error. Went to the game that was on my wish list and was going to attempt to re add it to my wish list but the buttons where hidden. Instead it was asking me yet again to log into steam to add to my wish list. Feels like a paradox lol

I've started getting this recently but only when using the client. Browser works fine.
I've also been experiencing this glitch. Started happening yesterday.
I'll check my profile to see that my games & reviews are missing, and if I check my account details, I just get a loading screen that eventually tells me that there must be an error with the Steam servers or my internet connection.
I can temporarily fix the issue by logging out of my account and back in.
It seems to happen whenever I don't check Steam for a period of time. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Its definitely something new - this started happening to me in the last few days too. No changes to my network, and it worked fine for months/years... but now I get partly logged out routinely after an hour or two...

I suspect this is related to the recent slowness on Steam Community servers. I've been getting this a lot recently as well.

Same, noticed it since yesterday. First time I've seen something like this. I'm on stable branch. Win10

I have been experiencing this problem for a few days now. Even though I started the steam and went through the process of auto login, when I close (not exit) the steam and reopen I cannot check certain pages, i.e. my profile, my wishlist, my messages, new comments from favourite topics, my wallet, activity page, etc etc What I have discovered is something strange...when I go into Settings>Web Browser and click on Delete Web Browser Cache, the login proceeds automatically and verifes my login details, so I can proceed with normal access to all pages! I hope this helps someone!
PS: What is `strange` is that I deleted all web browser cache before I reopened Steam page but it did not work, it only worked when done from within Steam!

I have the issue and I am blown away that everyone thinks its fine just log out and log back in. Are you kidding me!? No its not fine and steam needs to fix there POS system. And to all of you that say its a network issue just stop I don't want to hear it, if that was the issue it would be fixed by now. I don't know what they did in the last update to cause this but it needs to be fix. And i would say what pisses me off even more is a large company like this say is steam saying they could careless about what there users think or have issues with. How do I know this? Try and contact there support team to either get help because you are unsure how to fix something or report an issue happening, YOU CANT because they don't give you a choice all there is an option for it to go to the forums. Maybe one day someone will come out with something to rival steam and then they will start caring until then we are suck with this POS and a company who doesn't care what its users think.
