Gaming chairs can't help you play better. They're just expensive chairs targeted at gamers with a design focus on being something you can comfortably sit in for hours on end. Some of the more fancy ones put speakers or other electronics right into the chair but that's really all they do.
The chair doesn't "let you" anything. Aside from possibly sit without getting a sore butt for longer.
No seriously, your chair has nothing at all to do with this. However: like buying a new pair of shoes and expecting to be able to walk 3 miles without issue, your body has to get used to the newness and differences.
So if you're sitting differently, as long as it's *comfortable*, you will get used to it.
In the mean time, don't blame your crappy performance on a chair. That's just sad.
I hope it is a joke btw
Well fairly they ARE often sold with the whole "shiny oooh look performance spend your money on us because we're proooooosssss" thing. The Titan I'm in right now is certainly a much better chair than the regular old office chair I had in my prior house. but it definitely takes some getting used to and some adjustment. It's not going to just magically make your butt settle properly.
Some flaws because I am good already and yes it is the chairs fault everything is out of place my hands are floating my knees are hitting the desk the arm rests hit the keyboard
Chairs are adjustable. Chairs are not your issue. If you're "professional" I seriously doubt that your skills would have been trashed so badly by *a chair*.
Learn to adjust. And while you are adjusting *maybe don't try playing competitive* if you really think that it's going to harm your game play that badly.
The facts behind this is simply: You will find yourself leaning back, rather than hunched over forward (due to no or little back support). This inturn frees up the arm movement and reflects time accordingly.
You will find all professional gamers actually use gaming chairs. For example, Professional Major League gaming all use DXRacer chairs. DXRacer became the exclusive seat for WCG (World Cyber Games).
What gaming chair did you get? And what is your height / build?
mfw $400 tho ? Could it even be worth it ?
