Why are my achievements all at the same time?

It took a long time to unlock a game. Only one thing missing ... But I went to see that they are all unlocked in one day and at the same time ...

I have two full games and it's normal the day of unlock and time, but only one game has a bug, I have not used any of these programs to cheat.

I contacted Steam / Valve and they said it might be an overlay error and click the tab to see the profile info ...

Honestly, they know nothing about the problem, but it's bad because I know there are people who use cheating to unlock and that was very similar to my problem and timeline.

Observer: I have a shared site about achievements and there appears my unlockings on the right date, only on Steam that has changed, I do not know why.

could be a glitch on the stats server, could be you need to restart Steam...

unfortunately, some people always jump to irrational conclusions. (talking about the deleted posts here in this thread that I really do not need to clean up more of...)

Sometimes when developers make substantial updates, this can change the criteria by which achievements are re-awared, and see achievements be "re-awarded" or achievements you may not have had all be awarded at once. I wouldn'tt worry to much about it, frankly.

Yeah, but the problem is there are people who use the trap to unlock. But in my case, after a year all the dates were the same, I do not know the reason. Only in one game, in others are normal. I got in touch with Steam and they said it was an overlay error.

a vommon problem ia playing ofline unlocking some achievements and when you return online they appears in the same date.

But it was not that, they were saved at various dates and times, after a year, they were all the same. Steam replied that it may have been some server with problem. Or I may have clicked alt + ctrl to see profile information and generated an overlay, like a bug. But nothing confirmed!

Bumping this, just noticed it happened to me with csgo. Spend probably 3 years earning all of them legit and now its showing them all unlocked at the same exact time

don't outright say "bumping this". bumping is against the rules of steam.

Sometimes if you already met condition for achievement but you didn't get it before, they all get given to you at same time. For example, Disgaea 5 had a demo, the demo had no achievements, but when the game was released, all my achievements from that game showed same time.


also you expect us to think you played 5000 arms races/demolition matches, and got every single achievement? sounds like you used a certain third party program.

well, i mean, it's not impossible, but you hide your game time.

Only a couple things can set it off like that. Server issues or SAM.

Not for CS:GO. There is an issue some users had the last update that caused the achievements to unlock all at once for a random date.

And SAM is not a bannable offense. Why "redact" the name? I mention SAM all the time. On all the main forums. With mods in the threads. Like this one.

Although, SV might get mad because the thread was necro'd.

never used sam. no idea why its happened kinda bummed since its my first steam game and most played game i have and i earned all the cheevies legit. Oh well, now i can get trolls calling SAM on me

I contacted Steam and they failed with what actually happened, it may be that I have logged into an unofficial server and may have broken it. Or there may have been an overexposure error while playing and minimizing the game to see your profile because it is an error in your profile information. In the end they said that they can not handle this mistake.
