Help! Green lock will not go away!!

If you notice on the top left hand screen there is a green lock and next to it "store.steampowered" in green as well. This is not actually locking me out of anything but it will not go away. The lock indicates that the website is using a secure connection, it's not removable. The site changed so the browsers just show it.
Like you said, it doesn't affect you so just ignore it.

Odd... It also happens when I go to my own Steam Profile.
It just bothered me because I havn't had this happen before.

It is a known issue and Valve is looking into how to fix it.

It's a bug if it happens in the steam client if you normally don't see URLs there but it should always show when using the ingame web browser like in the screenshot as far as I know.

I guess the green text next to the lock might be displaying incorrectly.

Thanks for telling. Since this happens in the RTM branch of Steam, I would have never thought of looking into the beta forum.

Never noticed it before. But I'm seeing that green lock now too lol didn't realize it was something so trivial. It's been doing this to me for like 3 months. I keep thinking an update it's gonna happen and I'll be able to open my profile and the store but still nothing.
