Please help about trade hold 15 days
Hello can u guys help me

my steam account just changed the email and i had lock from market or trade in last 15 days OMG been wait for long time and today i can trade again but the item will hold for 15 days,my steam guard is email now,so every time i trade now the item still hold 15 days?

So what if i change it to steam guard in mobile then steam will lock me for market and trade for how many day? i want to ask before i change it cause i dont want to get lock from market now :(

Yes. That is what Steam Guard Email has. A 15 day hold on trading.

Enable the mobile app and wait a full 7 days.

You seem to be confusing trade "holds" for "restrictions". They are two different things.

If you enable the mobile auth. now, then you have to wait 7 days for there to be no new holds. But trades created during those 7 days will have holds.

so if i change to mobile steam guard nao i get lock from market 7 days? after 7 days i trade to my friend then i get no more holding for 15 days right?

Yes and no.

If you trade with a Steam friend, that you have been friends with for over a year, then the trade holds are only one day.

After 7 days of adding the mobile auth. on your Steam account, any newly created trades will have no holds.

But any trades you make during these initial 7 days, will have holds no matter what.

So, during these 7 days, if you trade with a friend that you have been friends with for over a year, then that hold time is one day.

After the 7 days, and with the same friend, then there are no holds at all, as long as they meet the same restriction of having the mobile authenticator.

These restrictions work the same for everyone. Each user has to have the mobile auth. for 7 days for there to be no holds at all.
