Games Crashing on Laptop
I have a Windows Laptop and it seems that when ever I run a game on steam, it crashes right as it launches. I am able to play a game called 'OSU!' without it crashing, but some other games like Minecraft crash as well. For instance, when I launch CS:GO, it brings me to a screen with CS:GO launching and brings me the CSGO window and then it just gets removed and brings me back to the homescreen of Steam

Laptops Specs

i3 8145U

Intel UHD 620

4 GB of Ram

(all the drivers are updated)

keep in mind I was able to run CSGO on my old laptop that has a worst gpu and cpu.

anything helps!!!

Just because you could 'run it on a worse' computer in the past doesn't mean that this one's in any way capable of playing it now.

How are you even running windows on it? 4gigs of ram? Intel 620? an old I3?

Yeah that's not gonna run modern games.

Was able to play on a different laptop, once more, means *absolutely NOTHING* here.

Each and every COMPONENT is different. What works on one game's engine might not on another. Don't fool yourself into thinking that the laptop you've got listed here in this thread is going to play things.

"17 fps".... Isn't playing. It's a slideshow. And I know most people demand at minimum 60fps for CSGO, because that's effectively the best twitch speed most folks handle. Anything less than that and you're going to just be dragging a team down anyway.

Playing single player games at 17 fps is ... pretty crap, I'll be honest, but it's playable for ONE and not ruining anyone else's day.
