It's legal to download a game via the Website Steam DB, right?
Just wanna be sure because I need the game "Haunted Memories" to complete the Spring Sale task "Blast from the Past". The Store page of Haunted Memories somehow isn't on Steam anymore right now.

Steam still does it’s checks and ensures you own the game. If you do it installs it. If you don’t the install will just fail.

No other consequences beyond that

SteamDB just gives you direct download link from Steam.
When you click install on SteamDB it'll open Steam and download game via Steam.

Unless the game is already free, no.

No, as stated above, all you're doing is downloading the game data from that place.

It still runs Steam the same so all the DRM checks and everything still apply. It will check to see if you own the game and therefore (unless it's free) won't run.
