How long does it take for steam support to respond to tickets/refund requests?

It's been well over a day since I submitted my refund request for the game Scum. Reason being I didn't like it/not my type of game. Today since it took longer then people say, I submitted a ticket to them about it. How long will it take for them to respond to the ticket and or refund request? Let me know please and thanks!

About 50 minutes for refund request. But to get the money back might take some days or a week or so.

It's been a day and no response from steam about the refund request.

Yes, I did. But for the refund request email confirmation, I also just noticed that they also said "Because you recently made a change to your account's security, your refund request's processing will be delayed to protect your account from unauthorized activity."

I only sent one ticket in since submitting the refund request.

The problem is that it says "processing". So I think that's for the money to go back to my steam wallet? They didn't respond to the refund request within the 1-2 hours as said.

As has already been mentioned before: refund requests can easily take up to 2 weeks before they're fully processed.

(edit) The main issue to keep in mind is that these requests won't be automatically handled but actually verified by someone from support. So that obviously will take them a while because they have plenty of requests to process.

Why would it take 2 weeks? I thought it took 1-2 hours but has been well over a day as stated before.

Oh so if I requested on the 18th and now it's the 20th 1:21 AM PST, they will check it at the 21th?

Yup. Around 72 hours after you made the request.
