How exactly is calling someone a ''kid'' an insult?

I got banned from the left4dead 2 forum for calling someone a ''kid'' cuz he did behave like one. I would like to know when ''kid'' became an insult?

Ok, ''kid'' is an insult, fine. It can be used in both ways.

It's not the word exactly that is insulting, but the context. Saying "kid" to someone who isn't a kid is rude, if even a bit childish.

Personally I rate it in the same manner as things like "fanboys", "shills", "defenders", "troll" and the like. Words people throw around when they can't think of anything useful and which only discredit themselves.

I'd think so, but I read in this and/or the other thread that you had previous bans. They're factored in, so that probably makes the ban longer.

Ban lengths are related to frequency of violations, are they not? There’s no “use ‘kid’ as an insult and be banned for a month” explicit consequence.

the fact that you started this thread to make accusations against mods based on the word while trying to ignore the context and that this isn't your first offence suggests otherwise.

Instead of trying to rules lawyer your way around things by trying to find a word you can use without getting banned or trying to get mods in trouble for enforcing the rules you should use your time to read the rules and start accepting that they always apply to you.

As I said, it was due to previous bans/warnings.

The more bans/warning one has, the longer a ban could be. The next one up from what you got this time, is a permanent ban.

I didnt lie, the mod abuse happens very often on game forums especially on game forums of very small games. Look up what happened on the dead by daylight forum on sep 2018, i am not sure if it was something big, but a mod did something rlly bad and he got punished already as much as i heard.

Note bans and warnings factor into it. Iyou have lots of bans which means you know the rules. Why should mods tolerate your behavior when you continue to make excuses for it constantly

1) saw your whining
2) looked at your ban
3) deemed it was 100% warranted

“Dead by Daylight September 2018” seems to be a popular reed to grasp at. Even if it’s a case of bona fide abuse of moderation capabilities, the paucity of other examples should indicate something.
