Steam Browser without Game
Is it possible to use the steam browser without using the overlay? This is simply as I have some workshop links and its a hassle logging into steam on chrome just to view them. (The purpose of this question is just future proofing if i need to access some steam URLs again)

I'm quite sure you can't use the overlay browser without actually opening a game. However you can directly open urls in the steam client.

If steam is already started: Press Windows + R, and paste "steam://open/console" in the run window, this will add the console tab next to the user name tab
If you start steam with and lnk and always want the console tab: Add -console as launch parameter.

In the console window you can now type:
open google.com
Replace google.com with the url you need to visit
