Something happened to your localconfig.vdf In C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(your user number)\config

So if you have some sort of issue you might back that file up if you put a lot of work into categories or somesuch.
Hi guys there are a few things to try, sometimes the Steam client moves, deletes or updates files and can change things (such as your categories).

Navigate to your;
Steam > userdata > [your account steamID3] > 7 > remote > sharedconfig.vdf file
"note if you don't know what folder you should choose if you have multiple accounts in the "userdata folder" you can log-in to steamid[steamid.io] and check after you search your profile up".

You should be able to save this file in case this happens again or right click go to properties > previous version > and should give you the version before it messed up (if you have the option).

But there is a Steam library update coming (Valve time when it arrives) but will make new categories already so if you don't want to bother with it, you can wait for the update to come.
