High Quality Screenshots

I have the uncompressed screenshot in .PNG and the original in .JPG but the original is so crap looking that almost made me throw up... Is there a way to upload a screenshot in .PNG ?

Same way as you upload jpg?
If its for Artwork in your profile Artwork upload image.

Yes, is there a way to upload a screenshot in .PNG ? My images in .JPG is always blurry and ugly. And it's not for artwork

Upload to your library?
Your screenshots look fine to me nice and clear.
What I do is Add _vr.png to a copy add that to thumbnails add clean copy to screenshots.
Exit Steam reload screenshots folder?
If there is another place your talking about

Yes in the same place that i have the other 1000+ screenshots. I've been trying to do this but with .PNG files (High quality) it gives me a error every time i try to upload and the only option showing is ''delete'', it only works with .JPG but then the images are blurry and ugly as hell in comparison to the .png one

Uncompressed images may exceed the max size.
How are you uploading? and to where if not using the Artwork?

There is no other way that I know of than the above mentioned.
Copy paste them into that game's screenshot folder
Its the thumbnail image you see in Steam client screenshots.
If you took an uncompressed jpg and converted it to PNG that will not improve the image in my opinion.

Do you want to know how to upload custom screenshots to your Steam library? This tutorial will show you a verified workaround to quickly get your files online.

Here its what i do:

- Take a screenshot in-game with the max resolution avaliable (3840x2160)
- The screenshot will have 2 versions, 1 located in my desktop in .PNG uncompressed and the other one in Steam>userdata....
- I take the .PNG and do my editing in Photoshop CC and then save as .PNG
- I copy the name of the screenshot located in Steam>userdata... and put it on the edited one and then override
- Reset my steam and the screenshot is there but there is a big error message and the only option is to delete and the solution is saving the image as .JPG in photoshop and do the other things but then the image is f*up in a way that's beyond imagination hehe

But i guess there is nothing i can do since i'm seeing a lot of ''A Plague Tale'' screenshots and most of them are in 6K or 8K resolution with crystal clear image

Well i just took 2 screenshots with 1920x1080 resolution and did my editings with the final result beign the resolution of 1469x2066 and the quality is somewhat good here in Steam, Ty for the tips

@Lone Walker How do you upload PNG screenshots? Steam only wants jpg screenshots. Do you upload them as artwork in the browser as described in the guide or is there another method? I find it very cumbersome to upload each screenshot as artwork in the browser and enter console commands.
