4. What is the refresh rate of your display ? A counter telling you that you are getting 140 FPS on a display that is only capable of rendering at 60 Hz is not actually 140 FPS. There are some custom Nvidia settings that can somewhat get around this, but a 60 Hz display, for example, cannot render at 140 FPS normally.
Also dont mess with the registry. tehre is nothing suefull for you to do there despite the possibility of breaking things.
tehre also other thing to take into account than merely your CPU temperature. Things liek drivers, OS updates, viruses, malware, background application ... just to mention a few.
