REFUND TO PAYPAL? BAD OPTION?

Yesterday I bought I game I don't really enjoy so I want to refund it. Since I bought it with paypal it gives me following refund options:
1. Steam wallet
2. Paypal
Since I don't want to buy any other game at the moment I want the money back in my pocket. If I opt for Paypal, will it refund to my credit card binded to my paypal account or my paypal wallet? ! I recently sold my CS:GO skins on some page and withdrawed the money to my paypal so it got stuck on my paypal wallet ever since. I can't really afford yet another sum thrown away. if you paid thru paypal, it goes to paypal. all refunds go to the method of payment

Wrong, with a refund you always have the option to choose between refunding to the original payment method, or the wallet. Anyway, refunding back through PayPal will end up as PayPal credit.

And yes, you can check out on PayPal.

What if I asked for a refund and selected for it to go to my steam wallet but would rather it be refunded through PayPal, with the refund being unable to be cancelled to change to PayPal. Is it too late then?

Also how fast is the refund process? I know it's within 7 days but... What's the fastest... I'm trying to catch a sale price on a game

Fastest is to refund to the wallet, will get it within 24 hours typically. Did you buy directly from pay pal? Thats the only way you would have had the option to refund there.

Because you can only refund the purchase to the wallet if you did not use another payment method.

Not al refunds go to the method pf payment. You have the option of refunding to either the method of payment OR Steam Wallet funds.

Your options are the original payment method (You said this was Steam Wallet) or the Steam Wallet. Between the options you listed you had of Steam Wallet or Steam Wallet, why do you think anything not on that list would be an option?
