items on market on hold
I already have steam guard for mobile set up more than 7 days, but I can only put 10 items on the market, afterward any items I put will be on hold for 15 days. Is there a mistake here? And also it still sometimes require my confirmation on my phone in order to put an item in there, regardless the price.

Just to make sure, please, go here :

https://store.steampowered.com/account/

Is the color of the shield there green or gold ?

its green.

Hmm...that means you do have the mobile auth. enabled on your account currently. Sorry, just needed to make sure.

About your other issues you mentioned in the OP, I am not sure why you would have holds at all, as long as it has been 7 days. From what I know, you should not, unless it was disabled for some reason and then activated again.

See if you can find anything here that is helpful :

I have had the authentication up for like 12 days, but still the warning for market hold still there, yet some of my items I put first of today went straight in without confirmation and had no hold on them. I feel like there is a long delay in the system recognition.

Check your email for when you enabled the Mobile Authenticator and check the time/date in it.

There is one confirmation email that the authentication was successfully added and a link to lock my account if I didn't do it. It said 12 days ago. I'm confused if the system thinks I don't have mobile auth, how can I still put some of my items in there without holds, 10 to be exact.

I think it's 15 days wait.

No, it's 7 days for it to be enabled, for there to be no holds :

https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1047-edfm-2932#appadded

Trades created within the first 7 days of adding the authenticator will still have up to a 15 day trade hold.

@ ZULUL

Unless someone else has more suggestions, I can only say that you should consider contacting Steam Support about this. The way you described the issues you are having sounds very unfamiliar to me, and a bit strange. Sorry, but that is all I can think to do :

It's not trade though. It's market use. They want to sell things but are being held from doing so after a set number. It might even be some restrictions.

They are saying something about being 10 as the limit, and other trades up to that point are not being held. That sounds strange, and I personally have not heard of anything like that before.

There should be no holds at all, as long as it has been 7 full and uninterrupted days of mobile auth. being enabled on the account.

EDIT...........

"How can I remove the need for a trade or market hold?"

Trade and market holds are no longer necessary when you protect your account with a Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator. Using a physical device (your smartphone) to confirm item transactions ensures that you and only you can quickly and securely trade or sell your items. You can get the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices. Items will no longer be held after you have had the authenticator enabled for 7 days.

Same is going on for me and and a lot of other people. Not sure yet but seems that it goes like this:

1) You try to put some things on sale;

2) Steam holds your sales, cause you need the steam guard 7 days thing;

3) You install steam guard and after 7 days your thing are still on hold for 8 days, then you cancel the sale and put it on again;

4) When you remove things from sale, steam understands that it was not you the first time, and put it on hold even aftar you have steam guard

"When you cancel a trade that is being held by Steam, we'll presume that you intercepted a hijacker and you'll see a 7 day trading cooldown to prevent any further unauthorized attempts to trade away items. This cooldown is for your protection and cannot be removed by Steam Support."

All that sounds perfectly normal :

2. You do need regular Steam Guard to trade anyway, but you need the mobile auth. enabled for 7 full 24 hour periods for there to be no more holds on NEW trades. Trades created in the first 7 days will have up to 15 day trade hold.

3. Yes, of course. Because as said in the support articles, adding a mobile auth. does not remove existing holds. It just prevents holds on NEW trades after that 7 days are up.

And it's not calendar days. It has to be 7 full 24 hour periods, right down to the last minute/second.

4. What do you mean "remove things for sale" ? You mean cancel an accepted trade ? Then yes, that causes a restriction for 7 days.

You don't need to worry about that after the 7 days, due to the mobile auth. See my post above :

Each of those and more is covered on the page I linked here above.

Steam Guard is email protection only.

Steam Guard Mobile is having the mobile auth. enabled on your account for two factor authentication. They are not the same. So if a lot of people are having this issue, it just means that everything is working as intended.
