CS:GO, Can't download any workshop map

I cannot download any workshop map, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, manually replacing bsp files, switching drives, contacting steam support, etc. ( i cant remember).

In the maps/workshops/ folder, when I open a folder, only the thumbnails of the map show up and not the .bsp.

In console when attempting to load a map it says this [UGC] Download of file from cloud failed with result 16 (773976809192903782)
An error occurred while attempting to download a file from the UGC server!.

I know you’ve probably done this but have you subscribed to the person who made the maps? If not then that’s what it takes to download a map, if so then you should look for the files in the game as it’s running (like after it starts up start looking around to see if there is a spot to change maps) because you’d usually see maps around there and not have to go digging for them in the actual files of the game.

Yeah that was another thing i tried, i worked with the map owner for hours

And you couldn’t find the map in the game? Like I’ve never played cs:go (kinda want to) so I’m gonna assume it’s where you get a custom map via workshop and you just choose it in some map selection, so there was no map there? If I’m wrong about map selection then tell me

There's a map there, but when you attempt to load it it says Failed to find a dedicated server.

Could be some server issues with the game itself, kinda like how TF2 can need a new server or something like that, you could maybe look up a video on how to fix that if nothing else works cause I don’t really know a lot about servers. Sorry

hmmm, I do have an idea tho. Does this happen with multiple maps from different creators or is it from one creator?

nope but i found by resetting my ip a few times i could download 1 map but thats about it
