Market is blocked because of stupid steam mobile authentificator
So I reinstalled steam and steam moblie authentificator, and thr only possible solution to regain access was to reset mobile authentificator. So now I see this when trying to interact with market:

The Market is unavailable for the following reason(s):

You are logging into The Market from a device that has not been protected by Steam Guard for 7 days. More info...

You have recently reset or enabled Steam Guard, you must wait 15 days after Steam Guard was enabled. More info...

Your account must be protected by Steam Guard for at least 15 days. To remove this restriction...
If nothing further occurs to restrict your access, you'll be able to use The Community Market on 7/1/2019, 4:56:19 PM.

This is such a bollocks, especially considering upcoming summer sale. is there any way to reverse this restrictions?

No.

The sale is June 25th - July 9th. You'll have plenty of time.

That is all covered here, as well as what triggered the restrictions :

I knew most of this but I still had some hopes that the reverse is possible, maybe with steam support? Damn I cannot stress enough how pissed off I am right now.

The page clearly says that even support cannot remove any of these restrictions.

Solution to what ? If you get a new phone, for example only, you can simply transfer the mobile auth. and not have any restrictions, except for a couple of days of holds on trades.

Did something happen to cause you to have to remove the mobile auth. ?

That should have only triggered the new device restriction.

What you did was also disable the mobile authenticator.

There wasn no other way to access my steam account, iirc. I had to disable it and use sms confirmation code. Only then when I logged in I could turn it back on.

That's what the back up and recovery codes were for.

Valve has considered these situations, and places safeguards just like the backup and recovery codes. These are in place to protect you, so if your account is ever compromised or mobile auth. removed, it triggers these restrictions so you have time to recover your account and more likely no lose your itmes.

I know it's frustrating, but it's there to protect you. If you forgot where the codes were, then to be fair, that is not Valve's fault.

Are you just worried about purchasing and selling the event cards?

Those will be tradable/marketable until Aug 9th.

Yeah yeah, I know. It's my bad. Still, for all the years of using Steam I had no issues with external security breaches. I'm pretty cautious myself. So this security measure is backfired on me, in a sense. I mean I didn't really needed it to begin with. It was forced.

I'm not that worried about it. But it's the fact that they taken away a contol for the whole 2 weeks, and it's all strickly automated with no way to reason with. I'm not saying that it's not my own fault, but the system istelf is not without a flaw as well.
The Giving One Jun 16, 2019 @ 7:48am
If there was any way to reason with it, then the malicious person that compromised the account would also have a back door to get around the system.

Security only works when there is no way to get around that security. And you would have "reasoned with it" if you had used the backup/recovery codes. Not trying to be rude, but just saying.
