Boot loop bs
So I recently was gifted a sky tech archangel and when I turn it on it begins going through post but then flashes to a blue loading screen saying it’s 64% complete for an update I’ve messed around with the bios trying what I could I tried messing with the data cable and even taking the cmos battery out and back in I’m also not super familiar with tech stuff so if you have something to say dumb it down a little please I figured the people of steam would know a thing or two...it’s been way to long since I jumped on steam and played some csgo 😔

Note that blue screens are generally an issue with your system and not steam

I recommend running a full windows update

" I’m also not super familiar with tech stuff "

I guarantee you, those two statements are connected.

Don't do things you aren't entirely sure will work, particularly with bios and the like... Blue screens are, as Satoru suggests, indicative of hardware failure, or serious software failure.

If you cannot even get this thing to fully turn on and update, your 'gift' may be quite broken.

From what you said in the OP about the BIOS, I also would be concerned that you made some changes that are not good to make.

You can reset your BIOS back to default settings, if you need to.

Alright so to clarify the only stuff I messed with in bios is the startup order between two things I’m not infront of my computer at the moment and I have tried reseting my bios back to default which didn’t change anything as for the ram test I’ll get back to you on that when I can access my computer. Thanks guys for helping I know the situation hasn’t changed but getting suggestions to solve the problem means a lot

That blue loading screen with the 64%, yiu're saying it's updates? As in a Windows update, not a blue screen gathering data for a memory dump?

If the first, have you let it run through? Does it continue or restart? Have you tried booting it to safe mode to see if it starts up?

There could be different causes for a boot loop, most are hardware related.

this blue screen is the windows update screen
large windows updates needs to autoreeboot somtimes more then one time
windows warns you not to turn off the computer!!
may be you have messed your sysrem up

I talked to the guy who gave it to me, turns out he turned it off half way through factory reseting it a while ago and just left it in the corner of his room because he had got a new pc

If you've got another computer and a spare flash drive around, then, make a win10 installation stick and do a clean install of the OS.

Another side it could be is a corrupt driver which could cause hardware failure resulting in blue screen, the best way to fix any other issue is by installing the OS from fresh, but if you have any sort of important stuff on the drive, best to boot into linux and you can obtain files through that way.
