doesn't hide it completely. it likes to re-appear from time to time
I would check controller config, maybe there are some custom bindings for mouse there for some reason
Ridiculous that a AAA game needs janky-ass fixes like this, but hope this fixes your problem.
One thing I realised is that the game still detects controller input even if I'm alt-tabbing out to browse the internet. While alt-tabbed, the mouse pointer doesn't reset itself in-game.
So what I did was, while playing in Borderless, I alt-tabbed and dragged a window to the corner of the screen, leaving only a tiny corner poking out from the edge of the screen corner. I then kept the mouse on that (focused) window and just played the game with the controller. It doesn't reset the mouse as long as I don't 'refocus' on the game.
Leaving it on another monitor or even with the overlapping window it doesn't matter it sometimes works but it is after 5min at best back in the center
