Refund to a cancelled debit card

There are a couple of games that I have in my library that I would like to refund since I never play them, but recently I lost my debit card and had to cancel it and get a new one. When I try to refund it only lets me refund it to the cancelled card or to my steam wallet. I don't want it on my wallet so if I just want to make sure that if I refund it to my cancelled card that I can still use those funds on my new card.

Shouldn't be a problem.

It's a new card number, but it's linked to the same bank account (i.e. yours).

EDIT: Like the others say … Either it works, or goes to wallet. Thems your only choices.

That depends on the bank. If they get a refund to a closed card, they may either transfer, send you a notice or check for the amount or refuse the refund.

In the case of a refused refund, the funds will be sent to your Steam Wallet.

If you boight the games more than 2 weeks ago or played them more than 2 hours, you can't refund them.
