Does Europe region lock include the UK?

As above, are games that are region locked to europe available to play in the UK? or is the UK a seperate region from europe?

Generally UK is seen as a separate region, although i wouldn't bet on it.

The UK is part of Europe. If a title is region locked to Europe, it includes the UK... Naturally.

There is no Europe region lock, there is EU and CIS, both feature countries in Europe.

An EU locked key will activate in the UK.

Generally speaking, games that are EU region do indeed include UK.

It's easy to think "well, brexit and all that" but it doesn't apply. The point is it's a region for release, nothing to do with member states. So if you buy a release anywhere in Europe, it should work here in Britain.

However, there is ONE caveat - PC gaming, being that there are several online portals by pubslihers now, has made it a bit messy and you would be wise to check for each game before doing so. It's not unlike some to add their own restrictions for whatever reason.

If it were console, then it's dead straightforward - whether PSN, Xbox or Nintendo, Eu is the same.
