Can I remove the 15 days Steam Guard Market restriction?
Hey, so I was wondering if I can remove this restriction. I just got the new case in CS:GO which sells right now for a big price, but I can't sell it because I just got a new phone and had to re-enable Steam Guard. Can I remove this restriction?

No, they wouldn't be restrictions if they could be easily removed.

You should have transfered the mobile authenticator, then you would have had a few days of hold. So for next time: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8625-WRAH-9030&l#transfer

Trading and Market Restrictions

Important:

Steam Support cannot modify trading or Community Market restrictions, regardless of the circumstances under which your account became restricted.

Yes, when only transferring the auth., you only get a couple of days holds on items, not a market restriction from the entire market.

And how can I do that? I clicked the link, but it doesn't show how to transfer the authenticator, I can only see the 15 day restriction way

It's too late now, since you already triggered the restriction by disabling the mobile auth. Just use the information if you have to do it again, for the next time if there is one.

It states it in the article, in bold:
Can I transfer my authenticator to my new phone?
Yes, you can.

To transfer your authenticator to a new phone, you'll need access to the phone number associated with your account (so we can send you a text message to confirm it's you).

From the Steam Mobile app on your new device, try to log into your account. When the app asks for your authenticator code, select "Please help, I no longer have access to my Mobile Authenticator codes." Follow the steps the app provides and you can either transfer your authenticator to the new device or remove it from the previous device.

After transferring the authenticator, any new trades or market listings will be held for a couple of days to protect your items in case your authenticator is ever transferred by a malicious person. See our Trade Holds FAQ for more information about trade holds.

But this is for the next time should you change phones again.

Yeah I see it now, the page was in a different language and it wasn't the same so I couldn't find it, but thank you and thanks The Giving One for helping me! Have a nice day!

You are welcome. In the future, if you are not sure about anything or have questions, feel free to ask here if you can, before you go through with the action you are thinking about doing, or use the forum search also. Have a great day/night. :steamhappy:

Ah yes, language can be an issues sometimes, yes. No problem, good reminder for me to next time just add the quote in the first place together with the link.

i wanna know if i can bypass this You have recently reset or enabled Steam Guard, you must wait 15 days after Steam Guard was enabled.
Your account must be protected by Steam Guard for at least 15 days.

It beats me as to why you'd want to necro as the answers were given clearly in response to the OP.

Why do people want the easy way out of things/shortcuts?

You could weasel your way out of things in life but it won't apply here.

Security restrictions/cooldowns can't be circumvented

this is so stupid what if i want to keep security of my account up to my discretion not to wait 15 useless days

You can be as secure or insecure as you want. Just don't expect to have the same level of access as everyone who chooses to be more secure.

They tried that already. Too many people lost their items and then whined about it after agreeing that they wouldn't.
