I have a question about badges

If i have all emotions of a game, but i bought them instead of through crafting, but i still have one more emotion left that i didn't buy through the market. Will i get that emotion if i craft a bagde or will i get duplicates or something completely else?

You will get a random emoticon from that games collection.

It could be the one you don't have, it could be a duplicate of one you already have.

It is random which emoticon you get. Also, the higher the level of the badge you are going to craft, the better the rarity of the emoticon you are going to receive.

Ooh, I've never heard that before! Can anyone else confirm this? I've never really paid attention to if Level 4 and Level 5 badges generally drop rarer backgrounds/emoticons...

Yes, its true. Level 1 i just got a emotion, level 2 i got a boring background, Level 3 i got a emotion and a rare background.

I really do think it's completely random, as I've gotten some Rare backgrounds or emoticons when crafting a Level 1 badge, and other times gotten the same items repeatedly when I craft each level.

I think it is just a matter off chance, but seeing as everyone will have different personal experiences it's hard to prove either way...

I've read about it somewhere. I mean, it would make sense if it worked like that, but I can't defnitely confirm it

I think the higher the level badge the higher chances of you getting the rarer ones. But it doesn't guarntee it and you can still get rare badges at lower levels if you are lucky. But thats just a theory according to my expirences

Even if the level of the badge you're crafting plays a role in the logic, it would be hard to notice. They are rare and uncommon because of the number of them the system creates, so if you're unlucky and none is available at the time of the craft, you'll get a common one no matter the level.

For the user who said he received just an emote crafting a level 1 badge, either you are wrong and you didn't notice the bg or was due to a malfunction. Every time you craft a badge you receive three items, a bg, an emote and the third will be a discount coupon during normal time and an event card during the Sales.


And no, level 5 doesn't guarantee a 90% discount coupon...
