CD Key not working Game stop won't help, can't find steam support ticket application.

I just bought the new COD for PC and they gave me a DL code for it to be put into steam. But it's not showing as "valid". I still have the receipt, when I went back to them they told me they couldn't help me.

Game stop didn't give me a physical copy they merely gave me a Code, they told me to contact steam support. I've tried several times to activate it. They wouldnt' accept it as a refund

Stores do not accept returns of this type of media usually because it's impossible for them to prove you did not activate it and try to get your money back.

The problem is you need to wait for steam to deal with this issue on their end with a support ticket.

Yeah but how do I even start a support ticket? Last time I did one it was years ago, and now it appears the format is changed, every link I click simply leads to questions with answers and not an actual form to start a proper corrispondents.

Then you got lucky as generally opened media is not accepted because of these issues.
