PS4 Wireless connection with Sony Dualshock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor

Hello lads and merry christmas I want to play with my ps4 controller wireless and then I saw "Sony Dualshock 4 USB Wireless Adaptor" is that usb only connected to play from playstation or It also can connect PS4 then use the driver "DS4 Windows" for wireless play with steam because so far I use wire and that's a problem since the edge of the usb has a bit warped
and there isn't a connection(there is but from time to time It disconnects by it self no good connection)So I want to buy this USB adaptor for wireless connection with my ps4 controller to games from steam and then I use the "DS4 Windows" driver
If anyone understood my situation be pleased and give me an answer thank you a lot and

It will work.

Also, DS4W is not needed as Valve added support for the Playstation 4 Controller into Steam. It works just like the Steam Controller where it translates input from the controller into other commands.
